I wonder if any of the toilets in Indonesia deserve to be called a clean one, the only so-called hygienic ones that I've found so far are those in five-star hotels and Senayan City... Nowhere else..
Btw, u mentioned on your blog a little while back abt the Pesta Blogger which u deem discriminatory toward non-Indonesian citizens.... Despite of Indonesian ancestry, I'm an American citizen, which puts me at an equal position w/ u.. So r u coming there as an observer, then?

Now, if we were invited to run workshops on good writing, or how to use our networking powers to overcome discrimination, corruption etc. etc, there could be more than just a social marketing value to the event.
However, judging from a story in today's Jkt. Post (which I'm sending you separately) there is an attempt by a few self-styled 'leading bloggers' to impose a control mechanism on the rest of us.
Given that there has been a remarkable sense of mutual respect within the Indonesian blogosphere - until very recently, that is - I can't see that the Pesta Blogger will achieve much ~ apart from a certain smugness among the relatively few who attend.
By all means go, but now you know why I, and many others, won't.
Incidentally, the 'many others' includes Indonesian bloggers. Check out this blog in bahasa Indonesia.

Lols. Regarding the comment u made on my blog, hmm... of course I wasn't referring to the "Blog-Indonesia" stats... I obtained the '100,000 Indonesian bloggers' stats from the pestablogger.com website, hehehe... ^^
Anyway, thx for that Colonel Seven site u gave me. Dunno if it's real or just a satirical parody of the Pesta Blogger, though... (^_^)
National Clean Toilet Movement, hmm... interesting. For most developed countries, clean toilets are a must and basic need for every body. They provide these toilets at the parks and other places where people need them. I hope Indonesia can do the same thing.
Personally I couldn't care less about the Pesta Blogger but you can be sure if the large WW is involved it will certainly be smug and shallow. His persona is one of the great PR cons of the last ten years in Indonesia (excluding of course the fabulous Bakie Boys)
