yeah, i of course disagree. Si Se Puede means we can and should be able to stay here in the land that is not yours in the first place. Half of the US is Mexico. I mean, I understand and respect your article but we don't like how you keep reffering to Mexicans as illeagal ALIENS. The aliens in this country are the pilgrims and anglosaxons that came when the land was still beautiful and fresh. Now to look at it in the mist of all the violence is pretty depressing. We could all live as one in peace and be happy, everybody loving eachother and no more people classifying us as aliens. That's all we, all of the immigrants want... think about it.
At this point in history, the world is comprised of sovereign nations. America is one. That makes this our land. Unless you have a time machine up your sleeve, you're just going to have to deal with that fact.
I wrote about illegal aliens. You added the Mexican. Granted, the majority of illegal aliens do come from Mexico, but that's not my fault. My definition of illegal aliens is strictly textbook: anyone who comes illegally from another country.
And before you go speaking for "all of the immigrants" about only wanting peace, love and happiness, maybe you should talk to some of the ones I've seen promoting La Raza, and shouting "the race united cannot be divided." It doesn't sound warm, fuzzy, or all-inclusive to me.
It is pretty pathetic that the whole brand image of Mexico is of a society so corrupt and racist that they have to dump their unwanted people into their neighbor.
China and India are known for economic growth and large numbers of smart people. Mexico is known for sending people it doesn't want illegally into the US....Pathetic.
I think that they should make the immigration waiting faster so illigal migrates will not have to jump the fence into the us. The people that have been in line to get their papers should get them now.fatster the process ,less jumpings of the border
I agree that we need to fix the way the immigration system works (or, more accurately, doesn't work), but no one "has to" jump the fence.
Breaking the law is breaking the law. We are a sovereign nation...we are supposed to decide how much immigration we can handle/is good for us...not the people coming in, and especially not those coming in illegally.

Here's the problem with that kind of thinking. Illegal immigration tripled after the 1986 amnesty, illegals flooded the border hoping for the next amnesty. No matter what enforcement is necessary, anything else is a fantasy.
Illegal aliens from Mexico want to claim "manifesto." I hate the idea of war, but I'm so irritated about this problem of alien invasion, I'm ready to sign up with the Army (not that they'd take me) and start the next Mexican/American war over California and the SW.
