I totally agree that McCain is a useless piece of trash. I hope he is not the Republican candidate in 2008, I might just not vote.
By the way, you got the state wrong. Dothan is in Alabama, not Georgia.

Good Post. What these politicians don't seem to realize is that simple, good-ol' people, even ones past their 60's, are out on the net reading the truth from sites that are not afraid to tell it. We all know much more than given credit for. The immigration issue is central to our voting decision.
Keep up the fight.

Buck

Great info! I'm glad that I'm not alone in my distrust of and disdain for McCain because of his unforgivable position on shamnesty.
Here are some additional illegal immigration tidbits (both good and bad):
The good news:
http://www.ajc.com/services/cont...xsvc=7&
cxcat=13
"Georgia's Medicaid program lost almost 70,000 in membership in the first four months of 2006, after Georgia launched new rules to control fraud.
Beginning Jan. 1, the state began demanding proof of income and citizenship for people to join or stay on Medicaid. Through April, the government insurance program for about 1.3 million of Georgia's poor and disabled had an enrollment decline of 69,635."
Hmmm...do you think this was a result of illegals dropping out of a government-funded program that they shouldn't have been getting in the first place? Is it any wonder our social programs are blowing up? What will another 60-100 million people do to that? They will get a lot more out of it than they put into it.
The bad news:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15149231
"No sooner did Congress authorize construction of a 700-mile fence on the U.S.-Mexico border last week than lawmakers rushed to approve separate legislation that ensures it will never be built, at least not as advertised, according to Republican lawmakers and immigration experts."
I'm so fed up with this bunch of morons in Washington. I won't trust anything that they do on immigration until it starts producing the results that the country wants.
Anyway, thanks for the info from Alabama.

Thanks all for the great comments and sorry for the obvious goof on the state. Got a head cold and feeling pretty dopey today.
