Now you're getting Wiggy with it

Well you have 2 definite no votes on there and a couple that I am pretty sure will vote yes. Considering this raises the profile of downtown Waukesha and a lot of businesses support it you would think the BID would vote in favor of it, but with two very vocal opponents on the board it could get interesting.

Jeff, the only people that think this facility use agreement will benefit downtown are Chad Bauer's silent investors. Put 2+2 together. They get a free piece of prime real estate in Waukesha even if baseball fails. The facility use agreement has no sunset clause, only a renegotiation after 10 years and is not confined to baseball. Our alderman are so stupid, or at least those about to get sucker punched.

They don't get a free piece of real estate. The usage agreement states they get usage for 34 games and only get access to the field 5 hrs prior to game time. If it fails, their would be no games to base the time off and would then lose access. The city still owns the land and all permanent facilities.

So you're saying all the people in BID supporting this are bad business people themselves? What dumb-dumb would think this benefits their own business if it fails?
What's plan B, phase 2? A bigger addition for a semi-pro team? Something like the 2005 proposal?
