This was a local Alaskan interview. They aren't as squeamish about where their food comes from, so it really isn't that big of a deal.

I'm not scandalized, myself, but I think a lot of folks see it as yet another example of her inexperience and political tone-deafness. It makes her look like what many of us believe her to be: out of her depth.
Whether it's a true or fair measure of that, I'm not sure. But it's still reinforcing her bad image.
