This was a local Alaskan interview. They aren't as squeamish about where their food comes from, so it really isn't that big of a deal.
I found it hilarious.
This is a perfect example of Palin not being ready for the big time.
Shows a lack of taste and sensitivity? Certainly.
End of the world? WTF? Grow up, People. Your food bleeds. You need to get used to the idea.
It's still more tasteful than Owen's deer reamer post at breakfast, though.
I'm not scandalized, myself, but I think a lot of folks see it as yet another example of her inexperience and political tone-deafness. It makes her look like what many of us believe her to be: out of her depth.
Whether it's a true or fair measure of that, I'm not sure. But it's still reinforcing her bad image.
