I understand that the story's been pulled...
Wow. Pulled? The Enquirer's credibility is gonna suffer a blow not felt since, uh, their last issue.
It would really chafe my butt if the story gets pulled. I've got hundreds of joke headlines just waiting to be used. Headlines like, "Who's your daddy?" "Having my baby" "Baby Love" "Baby's got back" "Baby Driver" "R Hunter is not my lover" (I'm still working on that one)
Barack Obama is going to be p-o'ed if they don't run it.
It is still posted on the NE web page, and has been recently updated. Not sure what has been changed, added to or revised in the story ... but it definetely has not been pulled.
A Democratic elected state official told me this one:
Hillary's out on the campaign trail, gets some big news, has to call Bill to tell him. "Bill, you better sit down for this. I can't believe it, but I'm pregnant. With all that's going on in my life now, I really don't need this added to my plate."
Bill says "Honey, I know we can get through this. We've been through a lot and I know we can figure it out. But first, Sweetie, what's your name?"
