I hope things are better for all of yours!! If you still have a cough, a great reliever is 1 to 1 honey to lemon juice, whether by the spoonful or in a bit of warm water making it like a soothing tea.

I'm so glad that you wrote. I've been worried about you and yours. The flu is going around here like wildfire; over 200 kids/teachers/staff have been out each day this week. I had that upper respiratory stuff/cough for almost a month.
Things will get better, sweetie. Just take care of yourself and your family.

Oh, there's some vile things going around right now. I'm on my second round of the the coughing one and it's horrible. I feel your pain. DH is just now getting back to work and I'm out today. 
So incredibly sorry y'all are sick. We've been passing it around, too, for the last month and a half. I'm still hoping we avoid the stomach bug I know we've been exposed to. I love people but when they're sick they should STAY HOME.
