Nonsensical comments, abuse, baiting, ranting and leftist stupidity will not be tolerated.

Gravatar Surely, the defence is right in front of them - why not use the filth being peddled at Brunswick mosque as proof of their argument that Muslims are planning violence in Australia.

Otherwise, why are they being encouraged to learn self-defence? In case of attacks by Christians and Jews?

If the govt. doesnt make a move towards getting rid of these cockroaches, Australians shouldnt be blamed if they take the law into their own hands.

Too bad we can't deport the ones who were born here - but we can certainly strip the others of their citizenship and send them back to the backward hellhole of their choice.

Gravatar Unfortunately, truth is not a defence under the Victorian law.

Gravatar Apparently some parasite tried to introduce the same law into NSW.

Now i'm no fan of NSW Premier Bob Carr, but he has knocked this on the head and thankfully we won't have this kind of pathetic law in NSW.

Gravatar "Australians shouldnt be blamed if they take the law into their own hands."

That is precisely what the Dutch started to do when they burned down a few Mosques after Van Gough's stabbing and partial beheading. They were telling the Islamics to bloody-well back off.

If a Governement so obviously sides with these maniacs (as they clearly have done in Victoria), effectively giving these evil bastards the green light, what is the community left with?

And didn't the Lefties go BERSERK when I pointed that one out.

Gravatar "Australia's only political prisoners. . ."

Spot on, Evil Pundit. I have been saying this from the begining.

This is the start of an Australian Stasi. An Orwellian thought Police we never dreamed could occur here in Aus' - thanks entirely to the Left (and they wonder why they are so increasingly isolated - it truly beggars belief).

Orwell was a visionary, but only because he saw his present with such crystal clarity.

Gravatar This is appalling- being jailed for refusing to recant telling the truth.

As time goes on & I see more and more of this kind of garbage, I become more & more a First Amendment absolutist. Even so we'll have to be on our guard here against leftists who would silence free speech.

Gravatar We'll see if they are jailed or not, Betsy. Personally, I think the State (and its tribunal) would be insane to push it that far, especially given the facts behind my previous posting.

We have true proponents of evil and hate in our midst, and they are *not* a pair of Christian Pastors. These two men have been clobbered for having the moral fortitude to denounce precisely that.

Gravatar Brackswatch has posted on the hypocrisy of the legislation, which has the Judge saying their comments weren't protected by the "good faith religious purposes" exemption but was the result of their genuine, passionately held religious faith. If you don't get the logic of that one, send Bracks an email.

I've actually had the pleasure of meeting Danny Nalliah a few times, and he will go to jail. The bloke lived in Saudi Arabia before he became a Christian, and he is not scared of anyone, whether they be well known Christian leaders, leading politicians or Corrections Victoria (who ironically are respondents in another religious vilification case.

Gravatar Oh, the logic is quite clear, Joel.

It is intended to silence *us*. As far as Bracks and the LW crew are concerned, we and the Christians are the real enemies, after all. . .

BT: many thanks for the link to your post.

Gravatar I hope you are right James. It would be appalling if Australia jailed these two men.

Gravatar I agree, Betsy. It's in the hands of the Courts now, so I guess we'll just wait and see.
