Republicans are the non Patriot party. They have maneuvered our country into a war that they are neither willing to fund (without borrowing from the Chinese) nor willing to volunteer to enlist in fighting. 2006 election results reflected the level of satisfaction with that party, 2008 will also show that America is fed up with the false "patriotism" of the ultra right.
Even Republicans know this, that is why the conservative candidates for nomination Romney and Thompson got the early boot from their own party.

What is it with these Democrats sucking up to Fidel Castro and Communist dictators?
The obvious answer is that they're fellow travellers, and they want to turn the USofA into the People's Democratic Republic of America.
We'll all be miserable, but we'll all be equally miserable. Well, excepting the ruling class, of course.

"Unwilling to fight?"
John, where in the fuck do you get your statistics? The military in the USA tend to be conservative AND Republican so your chickenhawk insinuation is bogus. Why is it you leftists like to trot out the "chickenhawk" cliche when refering to the GOP and wars? What smart-ass catch phrase do you use to refer to the left when they won't fight? Chickenhawk or Chickenshit? One more thing genious. Our Military is a volunteer force these days. This isn't Viet Nam or the sixties.
As for Barron, he's a disgrace and a racist. I've seen him on H&C and O'Reilly more than once and the asshole seethes with hatred for the USA. Fuck him and the Muscovite he rode in on.
