yes, this smear is likely coming from a desperate Hillary, but its purpose is to prop up and amplify the republcan whisper campaign that Barck is a, shudder, muslim which he is not. Emails have been floating around the net for months and national and local radio and tv right wing punditry has been trying to smear him with the muslim sobriquet since he announced his candidacy.

This attempt by the Clinton camp shows once again, that they are true racists. This SC slam by Bill didn't work, so they try again by that pic not only pointing out he's just a black dude, but also resurrecting the 'muslim' charge.
How pathetic, and I guess while sad to watch, the Clinton's truly showing their colors, and it is ugly.
