I think both Sandy Burgler and BHO are signalling they do not need a CIA pro because they have no confidence in CIA Pro-ness and they will not allow CIA to do to BHO what it did to Bush. Their other appointments and choice of advisors indicate they will relay on others than CIA for reliable work; using CIA for assesments is akin to using diseased prostitutes for sex. Also, remember the documents destroyed by Sandy were not the originals, which are in fact available, but the copies with his and Clintons notes. I think they came under privilage (which I support) anyway.
