Why is it that most of the whining about Katrina is coming from N.O.? Mississippi was hit just as hard and the folks there picked up and rebuilt. Why?
I get so tired of hearing about the "poor" of Katrina. Only I still remember the news footage of the helicopters that could only lift a single person at a time because the "poor" person was the size of a freaking Volkswagen and only one person could fit in a lift cage designed for 3 people. America, where you can be labeled "poor" and get all the assistance you want to sit on your fat ass and gorge like a cow. I have family in corrupt Louisiana (if you're not from there, you have no idea how corrupt this place really is) and they have lost homes or damaged homes, too. Only they're not suing anyone and have either moved to a different home or fixed the old ones. And gasp! they actually work for a living.
