I really enjoy the fact we have a solid ally in Sarkozy. The man is so pro America that it's fun to listen to the french again.

I would be more impressed if he indicated a willingness to commit troops to actual combat against the Taliban. A couple of regiments of the Foreign Legion would be very useful there.
