Why would global warming cause food shortages? A longer growing season in the temperate zone would increase food production. Maybe that's too logical? Maybe I just don't understand the construct?

They are right about climate change having a damaging impact on the earth. Too bad the morons don't realize that it is global cooling they should be worried about. Not this non-existent global warming.
Gorebull warming is not causing a food crisis, ethanol fuel is. When you use all of your corn and grains to create ethanol fuel, it drives demand through the roof, which in turn drives prices through the roof, leaving starving children in Africa whom the red cross can now not afford to feed. Here we see how even when they screw the world up by "solving" the non-existent problem, the enviro-jihadis will blame it on...GLOBAL WARMING YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE

Actually, the more cynical of the AIDS industry hacks, (including me) have been predicting this "new one" for a while. Poverty causes AIDS, "gender" causes AIDS, "youth" causes AIDS, so why not global warming? Anything to avoid telling it like it is: sharing needles and having unprotected sex with lots of people spread HIV.
Why can't they focus on the increase in demand for AIDS medicines? That's good for business! But you'll never hear this doom-and-gloom crowd say so. It's always got to be bad for them.
