So now Rove is the father? How does he find the time?

Nice, McCain. What kind of soldier uses a pregnant 17-year-old girl as a political shield? You knew what this was going to do, how it would divert attention away from your policies. You are throwing Bristol under the bus.

How nice that Gov. Palin knew about her daughter's pregnancy and decided to accept VP nomination. "Hey, Bristol, you think having a baby at 16 will be hard. How about I turn the entire country's ire on you?" What mother would do that to her daughter. You gotta question Palin's judgment. That is just mean to parade her daughter through the mud for her own opportunity."

You lefties are such a compassionate lot. Bristol Palin at 17 shows more maturity that you tools.

I like all of the "morality" coming from the left.
You turd-throwing idiots would rather see the young lass have the baby chopped to bits in the womb than for her to birth the child and care for and love it, wouldn't you?
And for this to even be an issue in this election is just beyond my comprehension. How would the fact that her daughter is pregnant at 17 have anything to do with Palin's ability to lead our country as VP? Fact is, it wouldn't.
Hey all you liberal idiots? What were you doing at age 17? Abstinence? Reading books? Lubing up the knothole in the fence? Hell no, just like most every other kid in the USA you were trying to get laid.
And for that "moran" who said "A conservative family that can't even control their own daughter's sexual behavior", obviously doesn't have children.

This is a plus. As Mark Steyn points out in his recent best seller, America Alone, if our western civilization is demographically to survive in the increasingly “hostile to the west” islamic world — and not end up like the sinking European populations — these are the precise people (the Bristol Palins’) we should thank for increasing their progeny.

So she's Pg and not married. I'll make a bet that half or more of the democrats in this country were born out of wedlock. Bristol Palin and the father of the baby are getting married and keeping the baby.
I would support abortion to age 21 if it applies only to democrats. I will even assist with the abortions from age 18 to 21.

Valued Val said: "Hey, Bristol, you think having a baby at 16 will be hard. How about I turn the entire country's ire on you?" What mother would do that to her daughter"
And because of her pregnancy YOU would have the Palin Family...
A)Put their daughter out in the snow?
B)Leave her on an ice flow?
C)Give her to the Eskimos?
D)Feed her to the Polar Bears?
E)Or..... have an abortion?
Which answer above is the correct one?
I can guarantee you one thing Val. With parents such as the Palins she won't end up to tossing cement bags at RNC buses off freeway overpasses. She won't end up to throwing pies at college speakers with whom she disagrees. She won't impose her views on other speakers on campus by shouting them down or screaming like a ten year old child. The list of childish left-wing behavior is endless.
So Valued Val - Bristol is in the loving hands of parents who love and support her. I wonder what happened to you?

Good post - now they are going after her older daughter. In less than three days, they have already smeared both her and her child with Down's syndrome (see here: http://www.shieldofachilles.net/...s-genetic.html)
I predict her husband will be next, followed by her mother and father. Just wait.

Just so we're clear, the comments by Valued Val and Lucas are--almost word for word--turning up on right-leaning websites across the blogosphere.
Nice try, doofuses.
I swear to God, following this "story" over the last few days is like listening to political discussions in a Special Ed class.

I saw the same post in the comments by "Lucas" over at A Blog For All.
Seems like Democratic talking points to me. And weak ones at that, just like their little leftie backbones.
