Seems like a poor choice for the Edwards team to do that. It's a good thing the White House isn't trying to milk Tony Snow's cancer problem.

ALthough I truly dislike John Edwards politics I do feel great sympathy for his wife, him and their family.
I just frankly find it hard to believe that any politician would use his or her spouse's cancer to raise money for their political campaign. I guess I never realized how strong that lust for power really is. If true, this is not only disgusting, but very, very sad.

John Edwards is just showing his true colors. He was an "ambulance chasing lawyer" before politics. He is a disgrace, and what is worse is his wife is letting him use her illness to help his political career.

I am not surprised by this coming from the same man who channeled an unborn child during a medical malpractice trial.
Of course I hope Ms. Edwards is able to
find treatment that will enable her to live a long and healthy life. That doesn't mean I have to want her husband to be president.

News flash: using "the google", bloggers have confirmed what most of us thought pretty damn obvious but the wingnutosphere simply wouldn't accept: the generic "send a note to Elizabeth and John" form has existed, and added you to the Edwards email list, since long before Elizabeth's diagnosis.
Needless to say, you assholes continue to slander and vilify the man and his dying wife right up through Easter day. I really don't know what to say about this behavior, coming from such fine Christians as yourselves, except that you all really ought to be ashamed. I see the Harpy Queen Malkin has yet to offer a retraction or even a correction, and I'm sure the rest of you will conduct yourselves in a similarly disgraceful manner.
