Funny how everyone confesses to their crimes over here in The Sandbox. I keep wondering what incentive they have to do so. Prevent further torture, perhaps? Nah. Probably not as American's are the only ones who are capable of doling out torture.
Your sentence is *increased* if you lose a court appeal? Sounds like a great legal system.
I know email appeals will mean squat, but in the name of what is left of civilization, where can I at least sign a petition?
I have done all the usual things at Human Rights and everything but the amount of mud the Saudis are flinging are stomach churning.

Of course if she had a small revolver, or a knife, and had successfully defended herself, then she would be guilty of murder. They would have put her to death for defending virtue.
One can fill out a form letter to the Saudi Embassy in Washington protesting this miscarriage of justice. As Amnesty International warns, however, be polite and respectful and ask that the woman be spared from such barbaric justice.

I was thinking more of an organized petition.
Where are the dime-a-dozen "Human Rights Organizations" to cry out in support for the rape victim? Those very same organizations who have stooped to the level of abusing every possible avenue to enable their terrorists friends circumvent law enforcement seems to have hardly noticed these events, or is it because the lead actors in this episode happen to be an oil-rich gulf plutocracy whose official religion happens to be one founded by the one whose name must not be mentioned (lest the adherents of that faith go into another orgy of violence!) or is it because, as Golda Meir once said,".........their throats are choked with oil!"?
