He can always leave the country for good. How about Cuba? No - he wouldn't like that - it's a dictatorship. He's just in it for the money. Michael don't tell me about socialized health care. I'm from Canada. You want socialized medicine - go to Spain or Portugal.
I understand even the doctors and the citizens hate it there. Big government really ruins (not runs) health care systems. If Cuba is so great why are people risking their lives to leave?

Michael Moore is a waste of good air. I wish he would just move to Cuba and 'live the good life' under Castro's system of government. Since Mikey has so much money and wants to make things so much better for us poor Americans, why doesn't he shut up and start getting his hands dirty by making a difference instead of making a movie.
This guy really is unbelievable! So are all those show biz types that follow his ridiculous and false banter. He goes to Cuba and then says in his letter to his "friends" how people are treated here everyday. Did he not look around when he was there? Is he kidding or what! Socialized medicine DOES NOT work. It doesn't work in small countries, it doesn't work in Canada, so how do you figure it will work in a country with 300,000 people? Like that lady Fran in the other blog said, ask her, she is from Canada! My husband is a Canadian citizan and I am up there alot and I see what goes on, so it is ironic that he showed his film in Toronto where people wait on lists for surgery. We have problems, no doubt. I have an HMO. I am on SSD. It has gotten much better. My son in law has been out of work, so he, my daughter and the 2 children are on Medicaid. Let me tell you. They have complete coverage, including dental for all of them. Each state has provisions for kids to be covered. The problem is, is that we can't get into our em. rooms and hospitals are going bankrupt, because we have 14 million illegal aliens using the facilites for free! Imagine if all that money spent on them went back into the health care system? I am sorry but the Michael Moore's of this country need to live elsewhere, but they can't take thier money with them. They have to live in another country, POOR! Then let's hear them bitch about the U.S.A. Oh and P.S. if you own a home, like here where I live, we are already doing a small part of socialized medicine. Look at your tax bill. See what you pay each year for the community hospitals in your area.
Michael Moore is a big, fat, good-for-nothing, lazy, money hungry, talentless idiot!!! I think his penalty for what he did should be extradition to Cuba permenately!!! It's amazing that someone like him is able to make all this money off of stupid idiotic ideas like his. Sure Michael, go ahead and take the last little bit of money that someone has by charging them to see your unentertaining movie. If you really want to make a difference, don't charge for your movie to be seen, or better yet, take all the money that you have made off of your ridiculous movies, and the money that you spent making them and give it to the poor people in America. YOU'RE AN IDIOT!!!
Looks like this administration is attempting to silence Michael from bringing the facts to the people again. Of course this administration has had problems with truth and facts from day one. "Keeping the public ignorant" to what is really taking place has been their agenda since they (Bush/Cheney) have stolen the first election. Michael, How about a Documentary on the 2000 Election????

Yes, and then we have illegals here from the middle east ready to blow us up and any given moment and not one thing is done to keep them out. What exactly is wrong with this picture. this is exactly why this man is making these movies. To show our government is in dire need of change.
An acquaintance of mine brought the article to my attention with the headline "Holy Shit! The government really is after Michael Moore!" Which is exactly the reaction he wanted from his legion of brain-dead followers.

P.S.: Dave, that health care is available to you. You just have to pay for it. I pay for mine (no insurance). I just had to decide that prescriptions are more important than dining out, buying DVDs, vacations, the new SUV.... I'm sorry you don't feel your health is a priority.
