A couple years after Miss America 1984, Vanessa Williams, lost her title, I happened to spend a winter working in France. And the then Miss France lost her title for the same reason: old photographs surfaced that were deemed unbecoming. So this is nothing new.
It probably has more to do with beauty pageants, and the image they need to maintain, than what country the pageant represents.
I say we let her keep the title if she bangs us all.
