So we keep hearing of the inevitablilty of Obama. Could it be he is just as inevitable as Hillary was?
I frankly don't think Murdoch is wrong on Obama vs. McCain. Even IF the MSM would get out of the tank for Obama and do something unique for them: report the facts and not disguise opinion as facts.
The real facts are: historically, Americans have always voted their pocketbooks.* On this point Murdoch is absolutely correct. If we do have a recession (and I have a hunch we won't but the MSM will do it's damnedest to make it look like a recession) then the voters will take it out on McCain, whom Obama and the MSM have taken pains to link to Bush.
Vote for McCain and it's just like voting for Bush. They will likely vote Dem for the House and Senate as well.
Unless McCain starts to get some "fire in his belly" about Obama, I'm afraid Obama WILL win in a huge Landslide.
*except in time of war (and while many of us consider the GWoT to be a War, most Americans are personally unaffected by it and therefore it doesn't qualify as a "war" for these purposes).
