As to the movie itself, the premise is flawed. Stop Loss provisions are not a mere loop hole - they are clear provisions written into every military service contract. If you sign up for the military, you accept stop-loss as a possibility. Perhaps this offends the far left for whom permissiveness and narcissism trump contractuatual provisions, I do not know.
It is perhaps unfortunate that the next election will turn on economic issues rather than merely being a referendum on the Iraq War. If Hollywood's string of failures is in fact a vote being made by Americans with our collective wallets, it would go a long way to putting a stake into the toxic and vocal far left.
