Ah Ha! I called this one on my blog almost a month ago. Let see how this one plays out and if it's true.

Masterstroke. Hat's off to McCain and crew, and Palin.
Bet Obama wishes for Hillary back.

Here's what I think happened. Palin was a hole card that McCain played after Obambi picked his VP. Sarah Palin was an obvious choice when Obambi decided to go with Biden instead of Hillary.
If Barack would have picked Cankles it would have made the Palin choice redundant and therefore a no-no. Now - in the eyes of America which one of these choices really represents true change? I think it's obvious. I think Obama shot himself in the foot by not picking Cankles.
An added bonus is Sarah Palin is a true conservative and represents the values that should keep the Christian right happy. I think it was a brilliant stroke on McCain's part.

McCain chooses for his VP an ethically challenged governor with less experience in foreign policy or national politics than Obama. At least she's a right-wing ideologue, which should satisfy the contributors to this blog.

Yeah, I guess fighting pork and corruption in her own party as well as the democrats is precisely what a democrat would consider 'ethnically challenged.'

I didn't say "ethnically challenged," dude. I said "ethically challenged." Big difference.
But nice attempt at a pitiful ad hominem attack.
Yes, a person who abuses her power as governor to have her sister's ex-husband fired over a child custody battle--and again to fire a supervisor who refused to follow her orders and fire him--is indeed ethically challenged. Kudos to Palin for making a name for herself fighting corruption earlier in her career, but boos for abusing power herself.

Jimbo, you lefties are unhinged on so many levels, a key-stroke error stirs your rabid wackiness even more.
She fought powers in her own party and ones like your messiah on the other side.
According to what I read, her husband Todd went and complained about threats against the Palin family by a trooper married to his sister.

Here's the quote.
"Todd Palin's good-guy image recently has been slightly clouded by speculation that his wife dismissed Alaska's public safety commissioner because he would not fire a state trooper, her former brother-in-law, who allegedly made threats against the Palin family. The former commissioner, Walt Monegan, has said pressure to get rid of the trooper had come from those around Palin, including her husband.
Todd Palin has said he took his concerns directly to Monegan. But he said he never told anyone to fire the trooper."
You guys are sunk now. SUNK, Jimbo.
