Gravatar Yeah but a muslim shooting the bible is perfectly alright isn't it?

Gravatar Unfortunately, this is the reality we must deal with. The sooner we Americans stop being indignant over what can be reasonably seen as unreasonable reactions by the Islamist world, the better. We will never solve what is a difficult problem by playing an emotional game of "We're not as bad as they are", or "we are so much better than they are", and such. A legit sentiment, but we need to move beyond that.

I don't pretend to know the answer, but it will be found through logic, not emotion.

Gravatar The answer is very simple. If you represent the United States of America, you should represent its values. And one of our values is the free exercise of religion. Including islam.

That kind of bigotry and hatred has no place in the US military.

Gravatar Honestly, I don't think the Iraqi's have a reason to complain. Afterall, their relgion would destroy not only the holy books, but the followers of any other religion. They declared a Holy War, right? So then, wouldn't religous items be an acceptable target, since it is, like "they" said, a holy war.

Gravatar yeah jasperjava the koran is bigoted against christianity and judaism but i don't hear you lambasting the koran for it you dumbass!

Gravatar Typical. First you they get us kissing the Koran. Then mandate kids in public schools take classes on the koran to "Keep something like this from happening again." Next thing you know your in a theocracy. Ala Akbar everybody.
