IMHO Obambi cut off his nose to spite his face. The thought of two avowed Socialists running the U.S. is frightening but Cankles may have been his best choice. I think there was too much animosity between the two for Obummer to have ever picked Hillary.

Yes, it's too late. Giving the nomination to Hillary would fracture the Democratic party, possibly permanently. Forcing Obama to take Lady Macbeth as his veep would result in him being perceived as weak, resulting in a November pounding.
I would have loved to have been in the same room as James Carville when the VP selection was announced. Watching him come apart at the seams would have been worth my left.......... leg.
