It's not just a lack of talent that kills liberal talk radio, it's the nature of the format. 10-second bumper-sticker slogans do not translate well to a 3-hours-a-day/5-days-a-week format where an exchange of ideas is expected to take place, especially when that bumper-sticker slogan is based solely on emotion.

I note the report calls "consumer demand" a "myth" like people are only listening to conservative talk shows because they're too stupid to change the channel. There's more entertainment and information sources available now than at any time in human history! Even before Internet media, if you didn't want to hear Rush, you flipped your radio to FM...
