OK Crappy choice of Names Guilty. But I am dead set against this, the parrents took care of them and loved them (I can only judge this by the fact they bought a cake with a name on it but it's a start) NJ is setting itself up for a huge Cluster Fudge.

I understand that and these clowns from DYFS are notoriously incompetent. They better have a legitimate reason or they're in for a lawsuit.
And guess who pays the tab for that?

I do hope that someone sues the DYFS. This is just another example of the State taking over from the family.
The parents may well be ethically-challenged, but the state had better show good cause for their actions.

I know that I read Daddy-o has a large cache of weapon just lying around, including swords, etc. I also know that the Campbells, both in their 20's are on full disability, one due to "back pain." I have no idea why they were actually taken, but yeah, there had better be a real reason, or they will get sued to high heaven. I think they should have spayed and neutered the parents years ago, though, so what do I know??

I'd like to assure you that DYFS has reasons, but I can't. I had my child removed from me, after I called the NJ PD for help to exit an abusive relationship. The reason they gave - only at the end of course - was Post Partum Psychosis, stating "We don't want another Andrea Yates." That would make total sense to me IF I COULD EVER CONCIEVE AGAIN. But due to operations (tubal, ovary removal) and hormone issues (PCOS, Endometriosis) I had after my daugther's birth, I am absolutely infertile! No partum means no post partum, plain and simple.
DYFS does what they want, when they want, to whom they want. I have read, though have no personal proof, that they get a certain monetary "kick back" for each child placed in foster care. I guess it goes to keeping the program running - which would definitely inspire some unsavory caseworking on occassion, I'd suspect. DYFS has been doing this for over 22 years (my roommate's mother had what happened to me happen to her in the 80's!) I don't ever see it stopping. Which is sad.
An organization that could do so much good, instead, simply is left to run amuck.

OH and the LARGEST kicker of that statemtent I just placed is DYFS chose to put my daughter with the SAME man who necessitated my call to the cops FOR ABUSE! They felt due to his being in counselling and medicated that he, not I (who chose sterility over risking PPP again) was the safer person. Needless to say he subsequently went off meds, manipulated the system and now I am the one stuck with no attorney to try to fight back in court. Go figure.
