I was listening to it break on who ever is driving on Hannity's radio show.
I think she's tired of the harassment and is bugging the hell out. Can't say as I blame her as the asstards from the McCain camp are a bunch of vindictive asshats who's pussies still hurt after getting their asses handed to them on the national stage and they're still sniping at her.

This makes perfect sense for 2020 or 2024. Assume Obama is one term. If so, people will be leery of youth and inexperience. In 2020 she'll be 55, a better age for the run. In the meantime she can earn a lot of personal money. Additionally she can campaign and raise funds for Republicans all over the country, building major party support.

"but whatever the case may be I am pretty sure we have not heard the last of Sarah Palin."
I certainly hope you are right.

the alternative is to go to congress and have to duke it out with Pelosi, Waxman, Schumer and Dodd.
I couldn't do THAT and keep what remains of my sanity. Have to shower several times a day to keep clean. That delousing shampoo stinks, too.
Good luck to her and her family.
I will fly my US flag upside down tomorrow, though not for Palin. We are a ship in distress, and too few realize it.

Amazing,Death by a thousand cuts; TV pundits trying to destroy Sarah and salivating over her resignation.
I wonder how many of those flakes could put up with viscious attacks, day after day?
Bottom line,a Mother protecting her family, good on her , I hope she does well in what ever she chooses.
When the world stops dead in its tracks over her resignation , one can gauge how much of a threat this stalwart is to the left!

I tell ya, the left is all agog over Palin resigning at the end of the month, but she may be gearing up for a presidential run in 2012. God I hope so since we're experiencing what San Fransisco must be like on a national scale.

Palin might be run for President in 2012. I don't blame her to resign as the Governor of Alaska step down because the Democrats, new medias, David Letterman, and former John McCain's campaign manager has been attacked her. The Republican Party need to clean up and need to get rid of these RINO's like Sen. John McCain, Sen. Lindsey Graham of SC, Megan McCain, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Michael Steele, Peggy Noonan, Kathleen Parker, and Colin Powell. The Republican Party belong to the conservatives.

In a democracy, you tend to get the leaders you deserve. Maybe Palin concluded America already had the leaders it deserved.

I don't think it will be feasible for her to reenter the political scene if that's what she's planning on doing in a few years.

I can see it now. Sarah Baby and her studmuffin Todd the Eskimo get indicted. The wingnut excuse: "The godless lib-ruls made her do it!!!"

I have the inside track. Palin is not leaving politics, except in Alaska.
