You quit NaNoWriMo for the same reason I didn't start: It is very hard to do. I will be in awe of all those who finish, even if what they finish is pretty sappy. Which is good, because I don't have time to read 100 novels.

#9. Same here in Pancake Flats. There's a nearby tree with such great colors it looks like it's on fire. Takes my breath away every time I go around the corner and see it.

Don't give up on Nanowrimo yet (please!!). I had only twenty more words than you on day one, none on day two and two thousand yesterday. I can't see that I'll be a winner, but there's plenty of the month to go and it's kind of fun seeing each other fret and moan :o)

Poopie, I love Clyde Edgerton. I met him once at our art museum; did you know he is a musician too? He was playing for some program there and I did the flowers for the reception afterward.

I don't watch House often. Makes me nauseous. I never had to work with anyone like him.....wait...I take that back. Had an attending in medical school that was like him, not to the patients just to the house staff and medical students. "The Silver Fox" was his nickname. Made rounds from 7AM until 4PM when we had lecture. So we had to have our morning work done before 7 and wait until after 6 pm to do the evening stuff. He showed up at 2AM to read our progress notes. Very strange man.
