What I liked about this project is that it puts a story and a face to the date, so that we are left to remember these PEOPLE, instead of just the images of burning buildings and so on. This was beautifully written, and I know his family would be proud.
Thank-YOU for sharing this post about a very special person... lost, sadly! I posted a tribute. It has been one of the hardest posts I have done for a while. My life is richer knowing about each and every special ONE. I am glad{with head-bowed} to never forget.

I haven't done a 9/11 post either, I may not. I have mixed emotions about all that and the after events that I won't go into here.
But, . . .
There's another part to this story. About those police, firefighters, medics, and other first responders. They are suffering terribly now with health complications brought about by what was said to be 'safe' dust and debree. [Reminds me of 'sure, there are WMDs.]
A lot of them and their families now suffer every bit as much as those agent orange or Chernobyl affected ones and their families.
So far our governments are unresponsive.

I am meeting up with some of the best bloggers in the world....those that took the time to do the research and creating of a tribute to someone they didn't know, yet someone who should be remembered by all. I have ran across hundreds, maybe thousands of blogs that have a list of the 2,996, but through hard work by good bloggers, this is more than a list. This is a special project, by special people. Thanks for your contribution.
