Reminds me of a tale about Big Jim Folsom, Alabama Governor in the 50's. During a campaign, a reporter asked about reports that he had slept with a woman not his wife. "That's a damn lie" Big Jim answered, "We didn't sleep a wink."
Another Big Jim story, involves a newspaper which had pictures of Jim with a woman, not his wife. The story goes that he came out, to a pres conference with pictures of this blonde woman, leans over the podium and says “well boys, you caught me and if you use bait like this again, you will catch me again”. That ended the conference and the scandal. I love people like Big Jim and Gov. Edwards, at least it wasn’t dull.
