I haven't been to the Modern yet, but the Kimbell is always nice. Give me a shout should you make it this way.

I went to the public opening of the Kimbell. I think I was 16. The moderns that had been stored in Leningrad were on display for the first time in the US. I have always loved the Kimbell. Since I was 16, anyway.

Just so people don't get ticky, it's probably more appropriate to call the works I saw then Post Impressionist: Matisse, Rousseau, et. al.

I'm thinking of coming that way in a few weeks. My sister has a new house, and my brother there is a favorite.

Looking at the calendar, I'm thinking of coming on the 8th or 9th of July and leaving on the following Monday. Maybe we might consider lunch at the Modern sometime that weekend. That would kill two birds (why not see the Modern while you're there?). I will be with my sister and brother. You can bring Mrs. A, and the girls, if they'd like. It's a party!
