get a life, boning knives are for the kitchen and used for food prep. You can say a pen or pencil is bad cause it has a point on it so are you next going to take them away from students??? The problem lies with the individuals not the knives. You need to re-think what you are saying. What a crock.

I have that knife in your picture and It's GREAT. Ergo Chef in my professional opinion has the best kitchen cutlery.
Who ever dreamed this idea of doing away with pointed kitchen cuttlery obviously doesnt do a lot of cooking and probably eats out all the time.
