I almost wonder if this is his way of making sure reconciliation doesn't work out so that he can go back to his "soul mate."
What a pathetic man.
Maybe so. Or perhaps he thinks his behavior is more acceptable to his public if he is a suffering romantic.
Wouldn't much matter to me. But then, I suppose his wife knows his frailties as well as he does, and there are the boys to rear.
