I own this CD and I love it.

That Marisa stayed mostly hands-off is wonderful, but I also enjoy hearing her sing "Volta Meu Amor."

I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to hear some good, real samba.

You're a funny guy ... "slightly tooth-deprived voice" and "his evil slide guitar and reverb". Well, you're right. That poor fella really sounds as if his missing a few.

Can't say I like this music very much, although there's no music that gives me such an emotional kick as ethno music. Perhaps am I not used to Brazil music or maybe this is a bit too joyful ... I like melancholic stuff.

I got the DVD with Buena Vista Social Club and that I like. I love Cristina Branco's fado music, and Cesaria Evora's "Cabo Verde" is one of my favourite CD's.
