That may be true that the average daily income is less than $2 and that these sweatshops pay over $13 a day, but how is that a far wage to bring people out of poverty? The people earning $2 a day are the over 50% of the population without jobs so if these factories are creating jobs (with so many people not even able to work in them) how are they going to improve the economic situation of a person or family on such a low wage? There is NO way someone can work for these factories to bring them and their family out of poverty, i'm sorry its too low and there are too many things they have to pay for.
