Jason, I'm not using Vista yet, but I feel your pain. A couple of days ago I had to make a quick update to a config file for a site on a server running Longhorn and IIS7. I couldn't get it to save the file. I then tried saving under another name then doing the renaming switch, but it just didn't work. I eventually had to open up Notepad using Run as Administrator, then browse to the file to make the changes and then save it. A 10 second fix turned into a 20 minute fiasco on a live site. What a mess. I understand the aim of the security, but sometimes too much is just too much.
