you are not a bad mother for not getting flu shots ... there is a lot of controversy over them this year because they are not totally effective; to make a long story short, every year the WHO 'picks' the 3 strains that they expect to be most common... well this year they got 2/3 strains wrong... so really the flu shot is only 33% effective this year

I didn't get Austin the flu shot. I did make all the adults in my family get it and I thought it would be no big deal since there were only 3 other boys at his home daycare... I never thought that when the daycare lady's son got the flu on Monday and threw up on Tuesday he would stay home where Austin was.... Now I feel like a bad mom too! I am just praying that he stays healthy! I have one in my class that has been out with it too! AHHH (Good Luck and ... God Speed!)
I totally agree with Ashley. The flu shots are only effective against particular strains.
I don't understand why you are putting this on yourself. It's a flu and it's isn't 100% preventable.
Their little immune systems will fight it, like they are supposed to.
Still, it isn't nice to have them all feeling bad and at home right now. Fingers crossed that mummy stays healthy! 
I am praying hard that you & Evan do NOT get sick!!! I am a bad mom too...I did not get them a flu shot. You have inspired me to go get a new can of lysol though! Pray for my interview today!!!!!
I love your blog. Your life sounds just like mine. As for the flu shot.....at least you made an effort.
Me? I have made no such effort. It makes me tired just to think about it. So far it hasn't struck. We'll see how long my luck holds out.
