Seems to me a religious school has to have a tradition. You don't see many Buddhists at Bryan University.
Someone left a comment with me this morning claiming the auction was pulled because the Ebay account was hacked?
The account hacking is plausible-- Ebay's been having a real problem with it recently. We recently lost an entire morning trying to deal with a spate of account hijacking that was affecting us.
It's quite a disturbing trend, combined with Ebay's tendency to communicate poorly with its users and no real sense that anyone is doing anything about frauds who are abusers of the system.
Hi, this is Ace. Our holding company did not buy the school. Apparently some other people of the Correllian tradition have met Ed Hubbard's terms. If they purchase the school, we wish them the best of luck and positive energy. But still, I am a bit disappointed!
We wished to meet with Witch School partners to discuss the matter, but that didn't happen. We made an offer to the majority partner, but not on E-bay (because we don't really trust online financial services after the VA got hacked.)
We also had a lot of questions about finances, philosophy of the school, assets, etc.
We're still willing to make a counter-offer. Nothing is finished 'til the ink is dry on the contract! I think Lazarus Long said that.
What I meant by not offering initiations and Wiccan degrees, is that we feel it is not ethical to "sell religion" online. If we bought the school, we would sell training, issue and certificiates to prove that students met the qualifications and completed training. It would then be up to students to seek a dedication, or Third Degree in Wicca, or other appropriate title, from their clergy.
We also offered to sell stock to current students and personnel, if we formed a new company.

I was recently told about this site so i decided to let you all know ebay was hacked and admits it. If you were a bidder on the site feel free to contact support@witchschool.com to get ahold of ed.
Once i get into work today ill post the statment from ebay to lay this matter to rest.
