You know, I once knew someone who went for a blood test and the nurse did it wrong and scratched his bone with the needle. He said you could een here it scratching as it went in: "Screeech".
Just sayin'.

Oh man that was a mean comment from Dan. Even made me cringe and I'm not scared of needles!

Oh please. I've had my blood drawn every 6 months from age 0-18 for the testing of my thyroid.
Don't look and tell the nurse to talk to you - about anything. It's worked for me and yes I still hate needles (and even more: the sight of blood).

From the 6th grade till my Jr year in college I got weekly allergy shots. I found that I liked them after awhile. I have issues.

I was just talking about this with a friend of mine. number one - I CANNOT watch and number two - if I am not reading something while the needle is going in there is a really good chance I may pass out. Hate them. Hope all went well!
