Gravatar You know, I once knew someone who went for a blood test and the nurse did it wrong and scratched his bone with the needle. He said you could een here it scratching as it went in: "Screeech".

Just sayin'.

Good luck.

Gravatar "I can man up and take a prick without causing a scene"

The part of my brain that houses Amsterdam jokes, has exploded.

Gravatar Oh man that was a mean comment from Dan. Even made me cringe and I'm not scared of needles!
Hope it went okay for you today. My best friend freaks out too and I feel for ya guys!

Gravatar Oh please. I've had my blood drawn every 6 months from age 0-18 for the testing of my thyroid.
Don't look and tell the nurse to talk to you - about anything. It's worked for me and yes I still hate needles (and even more: the sight of blood).

Gravatar From the 6th grade till my Jr year in college I got weekly allergy shots. I found that I liked them after awhile. I have issues.

Gravatar I was just talking about this with a friend of mine. number one - I CANNOT watch and number two - if I am not reading something while the needle is going in there is a really good chance I may pass out. Hate them. Hope all went well!
