All will be fine, I'm sure of it.
You need the time to recharge your batteries before the big new arrival.

So, that feeling doesn't go away anytime soon, huh?
Everything will be fine, you will have a great time and return relaxed and happy. Oh, and you are getting very sleeeepy.

It won't go away. On the rare occasions we have left one or both of ours behind or they have been on a school trip we have enjoyed the peace and together time - but have spent most of it missing them.
Kids - why do we have them?

It's so hard to leave the kids even when you need the time to yourself. And you hit the nail on the head... there's just that inner uneasiness. I still feel it (but then I don't completely trust the grandparents so there you go). I don't think it's going to go away anytime soon, but you'll still have fun together on your trip. Just make lots of calls/emails home.
Enjoy Montreal!
