Medicate yourself
I am with you on Haggard ... I watched that short film on HBO, i feel for his kids, they did nothing wrong. I just could not feel much sympathy for the guy himself ... I was kind of hoping that he'd at least come to the realization that his church and that most churches are nothing more than social clubs for close minded folks with superstitious beliefs ... but I guess that will never happen.
As for Phelps: smoked a bong, big deal. Got caught, oh well, hope he invested those millions wisely. He'll write a book and do an act of contrition on Oprah and everything will be OK.
As for Bale ... no surprise you liked his tirade. I remember that night at the Little Rock Motel Six and you kept saying, "Come on Pax, I like it verbal!!!! Yell at me!!!" And that was when we were playing poker. 
Christian Bale needs help, I firmly believe that only doctors and emergency workers have the right to scream at work. He needs to take it down a notch, he is just an actor for God's sake, its not like the world will end if his stupid scene wasn't perfect. Chill out.
I'm torn on Ted Haggert, I do feel bad for him - working as a door to door salesman, man that is a big change, yet at the same time I wish he would denounce his church and the hate coming from there.
this cost him millions.
