OK. I spot two potential fouls in the coffee story. The first is that the guy who took the last cup (thieving guy) should have left it for the guy who was talking to the boss (talking guy). I'm not sure this is a foul because talking guy had time to get the coffee. If thieving guy could get around you to get a cup, then the other guy probably could as well. Therefore, in thieving guy's mind, talking guy chose to talk instead of take. Possibly a foul, but possibly not. The second potential foul is the taking of the last cup without refilling the pot--this foul is explained by the fact that you were refilling the coffee maker.
In short, you remain the upper jackass. But you knew that would be my conclusion
