Rick will be so excited about this post! He agrees 100%. However, I am the girl who loves a certain pair of jeans and a certain pair of cargo pants more than any other pants in my closet. However, when my nephew was 4, he picked out a pair of slacks for me that have proven your point. They are easy to wear, comfy, and definitely giving.
I think I hear what you're saying on this one. I agree. Slacks are quite comfortable. But I think I like chinos better. I find them to be comfy but a little more "relaxed." Although I will admit, I never wore slacks until I got my job in Kaufman, and I now I find them to be just fine.
Another bonus? They're sort of slick, so you can slide across the booth at DQ much easier.
Jeans=possibly the most overrated item in American retail.
I like slacks, I just don't like the socks and shoes that go with them.
at the risk of going against the trend toward slacks - i generally hate pantses of any sort. and any discussion of pantses begs the question boxers or briefs? it's been awhile since i've worn briefs or slacks, but it seems that combo would be better than boxers and slacks. or maybe one could get away with the hybrid boxerbrief of the calvin klien ilk. or maybe i'm behind the times - do guys wear wear thongs?
So much for applying yourself. One month later and I'm still looking at the same post about slacks.
