Great bit of news. I know Burton made a mess of Planet of the Apes, but if you think about it his sense of black humour would go well with that of Roald Dahl, the guy who wrote the book Willie Wonka was based on. I'm looking forward to his treatment.

It's obvious why Depp is the hot favourite for Willie Wonka, but I notice they mention the possibility of Christopher Walken... now that I'd like to see!
