Seattle? You've seen them play, right? Seattle? (poor me, watching the M's self-destruct, now I have to sit through yet another season of Seahawks football... *sigh*)
Hey, the 'Hawks made a believer out of me last year when they came down to Atlanta and outgunned my Falcons. Their offense was red hot down the stretch last year, they got Walter Jones back in this year, finally, and all the other components that served them well a season ago are in place. If they can get any defense at all, and you gotta believe with Ray Rhodes around they will, I think they have a great shot.
Or maybe I just listened too much to my friend and former coworker Mike Cary, who's a big Blue Man Group fan too! 
And as someone who's been counting on Shiggy Hasegawa (blown save Friday night) and John Olerud (red hot before I picked him up, ice cold thereafter), I wish the M's would get their shit together too!
I'll believe it when I see it. I cannot curse my Mariners, but I'm cursing whatever has caused this latest slump.
