Frosting On The Beater... you have it all before you, sir. What a classic album. After wearing out several cassette copies, I managed to track it down cheap on CD last year.
I get all nostalgic. Ten years ago I was living in Cornwall. One evening I was sitting in a Cornish pub called the Wig and Pen listening to this fabulous noise. I asked the barman who it was and he said "The Posies". I thought he was joking...
I missed out on the Posies when they were still an entity, but recently a friend was asking me about them so I took it upon myself to do some research, borrowing a couple of cds from friends, and I liked what I heard.
I also have been digging the Minus 5 (with Ken Stringfellow) 's latest and I just thought it was time to get something by them. Plus the price was right.
