My eyeballs aren't what they used to be, but that's an old Classic II in the picture isn't it? I remember mine -- 10 whopping megabytes of RAM, glorious black and white, and a Star Trek screensaver. Friends would call around just to see the Star Trek screensaver.
Sigh...
I used my first Mac in 1988. A Mac Plus she was. She was our first actual graphics computer in the new graphics department at the daily where I was working. She was quickly joined by a IIci. God, how I loved those machines.
Hmm. Wait. I redid my math. It had to be late-'87 we got the first beastie in the graphics dept.
Wow. 17 years on a Mac. Most excellent.
(Also, they're all "she" as far as I'm concerned. I speak of Macs as sailors speak of their ships, except with even more love. PCs, not so much.)
