For all the visual acumen one might expect from a blogosphere devoted to a medium that's part visual, the comics blog circle is one of the uglier loops i make daily.
Well, Egon and Ampersand are excepted, acourse, and I do like how Milo's Westmoreland thing rapes your eyeballs and refuses to apologize.
Well, thanks, Paul. I thought they (Blogger) came up with a few nice ones when they gave us some new templates a while ago.
If I was a bit more code savvy, and had the money to afford my own domain, believe you me-this page would look a lot different. But all I can do for now is just use what Blogger gives me.
And I agree about Milo's site...man, that lime green makes my eyeballs bleed...

I don't know if this is a template you dug out of Blogger, but it is very nice. It almost makes me want to scratch the grunge style site I'm building and go for something clean and artistic.
Much better than the previous one.

Since the comics blog circle very much uses blogger and blogspot it's hard to do something visually different and good.
Milo's site is something of a wonder, that green does fuck up the entire spectrum of colours. It's impossible to see white or pale yellow for at least five minutes.
I can't decide whether this looks more like a blog about hip athletic-y shoes or a slick but lofi band. I like it either way!
I guess I'm the lone dissenter. This one is hard on my eyes.
Rose: the more I look at it, the more I thought of shoe ad art, myself. Glad someone else sees it too!
