Not comics but I had a Duran Duran greatest hits album that I played the hell outta while I played this old D&D PC Game called Pools of Radiance. Whenever I hear Duran Duran I allways think of hordes of 8-bit orcs.

It's so hard not to just respond, "No, you freak!" whenever people ask questions like that, but I'm trying to restrain myself. I don't know if I have music/comics connections, but I definitely connect certain songs to certain stretches of road. Or at least a landmark will remind me what I was listening to or talking about the last time I passed it. I know I have some comics linkages but can't think of any right now, and I don't think they're music connections.

I suppose the Kinks "David Watts" makes me think of the Invisibles, but that's more cause it's in the story than anything else.

Funny you should mention Amazing Adventures. For me, it was #11 (the Inhumans, drawn by Mike Sekowsky) and 'Riders on the Storm" from the Doors' "L.A. Woman".

That song "They're coming to take me away." whenever I read a Grant Morrison comic.

Speaking of Grant Morrison and because technical difficulties prevent me from putting this on my own blog, Seaguy is chock full of nods to The Residents!

Ever read Blue Monday by Chynna Clugston-Major from Oni? It's all about the music.

I've skimmed through an occasional issue, mostly at the urging of a good friend who loves CC-M's work, but I'm afraid I just don't share his enthusiasm. Perhaps one of these days I'll pick up a trade or some back issues and give it a fair shot...

Interesting little meme... I always associated Love and Rockets with The Replacements for some reason, probably because I discovered both around the same time. Plus, for some reason, Walt Simonson's interpretation of The Mighty Thor (you know, the one where Thor was turned into a frog and Beta Ray Bill took up the God of Thunder mantle) will always be linked with the Labour of Lust album by Nick Lowe, and for the life of me I don't know why that is.
Of course, the greatest rock'n'roller in all of comicdom has to be Churchy LaFemme of Pogo.

That's pretty much the truth, although I gotta stick with Super-Hip.
Come to think of it, though, I'm not sure those old Bob Hope comics ever really showed him rocking out or even playing music, for that matter...
And it is pretty strange to associate Lowe with those Simonson Thors, but that's the weird thing about this- you don't really have much choice in the matter!
It's kinda boring and obvious, I guess, but I always hear Los Lobos when I think of L&R. I started reading L&R regularly several years after I discovered the 'Mats. I would love, love, LOVE to see Jaime Hernandez do a comic book featuring the members of Lobos drawn in his style, jetting around the world and having adventures...
