Naw, you should have more faith in your own taste. I like DD too. I sometimes wish for a bit faster pacing, and the fights to visually flow better, but its a good book and I know a curmudgeonly rant when I see one. I do them myself. I find my rants don't usually get many backers though.

I'm being real tongue-in-cheek here, I guess, because I can see a lot of truth in what Adam whatsisname is saying, and that makes me wonder if I haven't overreacted in praising BMB's run so much.
Self-doubt is in my nature, I suppose, which is why I'm not drawing Daredevil instead of Maleev...
Hey, I'm with you on Daredevil. Bendis has his weak moments(Ultimate FF #6, anyone?) but he and Maleev are amazing on Daredevil. I said much more at the Howling Curmudgeon blog, but suffice to say, I don't understand all the Bendis backlash.
I'm not surprised. It always seems like someone feels the urge to go against the flow and show how hip and perceptive they are. Hell, I've given in to that urge myself. I think they're wrong, for the most part, but there's enough truth in what they say to be troubling.
